BURGOS
SPAGNAL’industria del legno riveste un’importanza primaria nella regione, in quanto i comuni possiedono l’80% della superficie totale (proprietà comunale della foresta) e la raccolta del legname è un’attività tradizionalmente svolta dai suoi abitanti. Alcuni progetti di ricerca e sviluppo (come LIFE Soria ForestAdapt, ZeroFires, International Model Forest Network, ecc.), stanno esplorando l’ulteriore potenziale delle attività legate alla silvicoltura. Inoltre, sono già in atto meccanismi di sostegno pubblico (come i Piani di gestione forestale e la riduzione dei contributi previdenziali all’interno della provincia di Soria). Anche le attività legate al turismo naturalistico e culturale danno un notevole impulso all’economia locale. UBU, FO2 e SODEBUR si impegnano a sostenere le iniziative esistenti in questi ambiti (come la Casa del Bosco, la Cabaña Real de Carreteros, Que la Sierra Baile, l’associazione TurismoUrbion, SMART VILLAGES) e a continuare a promuovere lo sviluppo di nuove iniziative di economia sociale. I temi individuati come prioritari sono i seguenti: iniziative culturali, alfabetizzazione e servizi digitali, nuovi modelli di trasporto, inclusione lavorativa, conservazione e gestione delle risorse naturali e accesso agli alloggi per persone con un background migratorio e neo-rurali.
