OLASZORSZÁGA szövetkezeti mozgalom kezdetei a 19. századra nyúlnak vissza: 1895-ben alakult meg a Federazione Trentina della Cooperazione (FTC). A régiót világszerte jelentős szövetkezeti központként tartják számon. Trento szociálpolitikája összhangban van a foglalkoztatáspolitikával, és különböző érdekelt feleket von be, beleértve a szociális szövetkezeteket, önkéntesszervezeteket és munkaadói érdekképviseleteket. A régió 2022-ben törvényt vezetett be a szociális szövetkezetekről a hegyvidéki területek elnéptelenedése elleni küzdelem és a szolgáltatásokhoz való hozzáférés javítása érdekében. Az FTC és Trento autonóm megye (PAT) közötti intézményi együttműködési megállapodás célja a szövetkezeti modell fejlesztése és a foglalkoztatáspolitikai szabályozások aktualizálása. Az EaSI által finanszírozott COPE projekt Közösségi Laborokat hoz léter a szociális gazdaságban, és a nem tanuló, nem dolgozó fiatalokat célozza meg a társadalmi és munkaerőpiaci integráció érdekében. Ezek a Közösségi Laborok elősegítik az önálló vállalkozást és a helyi központokkal és üzleti inkubátorokkal való együttműködést. Emellett a trentinói szolgáltató szövetkezetek a fogyatékkal élők és a mozgáskorlátozottak számára is nyújtanak turisztikai szolgáltatásokat, ezzel segítve a turizmus befogadóbb működését. Az InCooperazione jóléti platform egy innovatív digitális eszköz, amely a kiszolgáltatott helyzetben lévő csoportok társadalmi és munkaerőpiaci integrációjának támogatására használható fel.
