LitauenI tillegg til den nasjonale statlige fremgangsstrategien «Litauen 2050» og det nasjonale programmet for å styrke sosial inkludering og bekjempe fattigdom, tar Druskininkai kommune tak i problemene med inkludering av sårbare grupper via Druskininkai kommunes strategiske utviklingsplan for årene 2021-2029. Druskininkai Local Action Group (Druskininku VVG) implementerer også lokal utviklingsstrategi for sine rurale områder. Følgende temaer lokalt prioritert: Innovative løsninger for tjenesteyting (internasjonaliserte inkluderende turisttjenester), nye digitale verktøy (plattform og apper), innovasjon av inkluderende forretningsmodeller, sosial motstandskraft for å dempe sesongvariasjoner i arbeidsmarkedet, diversifisert landbruk.
