Druskininkai MAP meeting on social economy initiatives

On December 11, 2024, a MAP meeting brought together 20 participants (5 men and 15 women) to discuss and identify key challenges faced by participants social economy initiatives. The primary goal of the meeting was to address these issues and explore potential social economy initiatives that could provide effective solutions. Several shared challenges were highlighted during the discussion.

First, there was a significant need for improved marketing and advertising strategies, including consultations and training from marketing specialists. Participants emphasized the importance of adapting educational offerings to smaller groups and families while also identifying suitable target audiences. Second, the need to develop new educational programs was noted, requiring expertise from specialists such as directors and program developers.

Other challenges included a shortage of motivated human resources, as many participants in educational activities are employed full-time and unable to attend on-demand sessions. Additionally, the group discussed the need for more catering suppliers to incorporate food services into educational events. Finally, the lack of necessary equipment and materials directly tied to these activities was identified as a pressing issue.

The meeting provided a platform for participants to share experiences and collaboratively seek solutions to enhance the quality and accessibility of educational initiatives.
